(It is normal for the base coat to remain slightly tacky after curing.) Step 4: Apply a thin layer of color gel polish and cure it with a UV (1-2 minutes) or LED (30 seconds) nail dryer lamp. Repeat this step to apply additional layers, as 2-3 thin layers generally work best. Step 5: Apply a thin top coat and cure it with a UV (2-3 minutes) or LED (60 seconds) nail dryer lamp. This step will help achieve a high-gloss finish. (Applying 2 thin layers of top coat is recommended.)
Achieving Long-Lasting Results: Remember to cap the free edge of each layer to ensure the polish lasts. Remove the cuticle, trim the edges, and ensure your nails are dry and clean before applying the polish. Apply a base coat or top coat, keeping the layers as thin as possible. Avoid applying the polish too close to your skin or cuticle.
